AP Students DO and HAVE the following:

1. Read accurately.
2. Engage in intelligent discussion.
3. Desire to learn more than surface-level knowledge.
4. Listen actively.
5. A sense of personal and social responsibility to keep up with workload and contribute sufficient meaning to group’s efforts.
6. The patience to accept a variety of answers for unresolved questions as starting points for further thinking and exploring of ideas.
7. A basic command of language or a willingness to obtain it.
8. High personal expectations/ goals focused on increasing self-sophistication.
